Delete Your Account

Delete from the app (fastest)

1. Open the IDDIAS app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings (from your profile menu).
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm twice.

Your account is deleted immediately.

Request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the app, email support@iddias.com from the email address linked to your IDDIAS account with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify the request and delete the account within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your profile (name, email, date of birth, country, profession, interests).
• Your profile picture and uploaded photos.
• Your biometric identifiers (facial feature data used for lookalike search and face sign-in).
• Your sign-in account.

What may be kept

If your account or content was the subject of an abuse report or was blocked by our moderation, we retain the reported content, copies of your profile pictures and the identifying information needed to attribute it (name, email address, date of birth, location and account dates), for as long as necessary for legal claims and cooperation with law enforcement (GDPR Art. 17(3)).

For every deleted account we also keep a minimal, locked record — name, email address, account ID and the account's creation and deletion dates — for 12 months, so that abuse reported after deletion can still be investigated. Only authorised IDDIAS safety staff can access it, and it is deleted automatically after 12 months.

Messages you sent to other users remain in their conversations. Nothing else is kept.
